The first Cultural Exchange of the Rosmini College with foreign countries started more than 10 years ago, when, thanks to the collaboration with the “Italian Culinary Tradition” (ICT), the first Italian Culinary Arts Master for Japanese professional Cooks was proposed.
This Master is divided in tree main periods:
The first period inlcudes many theoretical lessons, which are organized in the Rosmini College and which are held by the Rosmini College Culinary Arts School teachers.
The second period includes a travel in Italy, in which the students are guided in many visits in many plants where many traditional products are produced following the ancient traditions.
Finally, the third period includes a 11-months stage in a famous and prestigious Italian restaurant situated in Piemonte, around Torino.
The Master’s schedule is organized by the “Italian Culinary Tradition”, but the didactic aspects and the theoretical and pratical lessons of the first period are organized thanks to the Mellerio – Rosmini College and the teachers of the Mellerio – Rosmini Culinary Arts School.
Thanks to the great success of this initiative, the ICT – Mellerio Rosmini College Master for Japanese Professional Cooks, was organized and proposed twice a year and currently the 24th Edition is taking place.
During the past editions, more than 400 Japanese Professional Cooks have been studied for 5 weeks in Domodossola, having an important and formative experience and having the oportunity to know the traditional wines and food of the Italian Alps.
